Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's consulate in Istanbul said on Thursday, that it was following up into the disappearance of Saudi journalist, Jamal Khashoggi in Istanbul.
In a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency, the consulate said that "Khashoggi's disappearance happened after he left the consulate building in Istanbul."
Adding “The consulate confirmed that it is carrying out follow-up procedures and coordination with the Turkish local authorities to uncover the circumstances of the disappearance of Jamal Khashoggi after he left the consulate building.”
