Saudi Arabia: Authorities foil attempt to smuggle SR3 million out of kingdom

Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s Customs has announced it foiled an attempt to smuggle SR 3 million hidden in suitcases at King Khalid International Airport of Riyadh.

A video was published on Twitter showing how officers succeeded in preventing the smuggling of the money out of the kingdom.

It said it discovered that a large number of people of several nationalities were involved in the case in cooperation and coordination with the Riyadh police. The SR 3 million was seized and those involved were arrested.
