Dubai: Prince Mishal Bin Majed, Governor of Jeddah, on Wednesday visited the injured in the Jeddah cemetery attack.

He enquired about their health and was briefed by the medical team at the hospital on their condition. Prince Mishaal wished them a speedy recovery.

Major General Eid Al Otaibi, Director of the Mecca Region Police, and several governorate officials were also present during the visit.

Earlier on Wednesday, a bomb blast took place at a non-Muslim cemetery in Jeddah during a ceremony held by foreign embassies to commemorate soldiers who were killed during the First World War.

According to an official statement by Saudi authorities, two people were injured, including a staff member of the Greek Consulate and a Saudi security guard. They are doing well.
