Riyadh: President Bush said he intends to discuss the soaring world oil prices with King Abdullah, and the impact it has on the US economy.
This topic of discussion is likely to be met with contention and possibly put strain on an otherwise amicable relationship between the two countries.
Bush has made it clear that with the US being the largest consumer of energy resources, the world over, Saudi, the de facto head of OPEC, should seriously address the frequently rising oil prices.
As global consumers are crippled by escalating prices for energy resources the oil rich Kingdom's economy will also be negatively affected as it will mean face a large dip in global sales.
