New society to protect rights of consumers in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia is to set up a society to protect the rights of consumers.

The Consumer Protection Society (CPS) will ensure the rights of consumers, according to a statement from Saudi cabinet after its weekly session chaired by King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.

Formation of the society comes at a time when prices are increasing.
