Abu Dhabi: Saudi Telecom Company (STC) and the Ministry of Health enabled hospitalised patients to greet their relatives and friends on the occasion of Eid Al Adha through video communication by providing free smartphones equipped with SIM data cards.

STC provided smart devices for use by patients while maintaining social distancing, within the strategic partnership with the Ministry of Health, and adopting sustainable initiatives that affect the society in which the company operates.

Besides the SIM card, the devices were loaded with social networking software applications, in addition to a comprehensive user guide that included instructions on how to use the service in addition to the necessary preventive measures for social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
