Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health today announced 492 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the kingdom to 335,097.
Out of the total confirmed infections, active cases have fallen sharply to 10,557 with critical ones dropping to 993, the lowest ever in several months.

The ministry also announced that 592 more patients have fully recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total number of recoveries to 319,746, with the recovery rate reaching 95.41 per cent.
Of the new cases recorded today, 55 were recorded in Medina, 52 in Yanbu, 39 each in Jeddah and Mecca. The remaining cases were detected in different cities and governorates across the kingdom.
