1.5m Haj pilgrims arrive in Saudi Arabia

As more continue arriving, a total of two million are expected to perform Haj this year

A total of 1.4 million Haj pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia so far from around the world.

Press reports said Saudi authorities expect the total number to reach two million in the next few days, before the climax of Haj on Thursday in Arafa.

Press reports, said a 13,13,946 people travelled through flights, 79,501 came by road, while 12,477 reached Saudi Arabia via ships.

Meanwhile, the number of pilgrims who have arrived in Madinah has reached 845,878, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Other pilgrims arrived at Jeddah, from where they head to Makkah.
