Dubai: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) of Qatar today recorded 284 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), taking the overall tally to 116,765.
All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status
Meanwhile, 315 COVID-19 patients have made full recovery in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 113,531, leaving 3041 active cases under treatment
No new deaths were reported for the sixth consecutive day, keeping the death toll in the Gulf country at 193.
The latest cases were detected after conducting 7,001 tests in the last 24 hours, pushing the total tests done so far to 584,123. There were 39 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours.
Four patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing the total number of cases receiving medical care in intensive care currently to 65.
