Dubai: Qatar on Sunday reported 262 new cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 109,140
One people has died from complications caused by COVID-19, taking the country’s death tally to 165, the Ministry of Public Health said during its latest coronavirus updates.
The total number of recovered people rose to 106,024 as 274 infected patients had full recovered during the past 24 hours.
The ministry also announced that 3,442 people were tested for COVID-19, raising to the total number of examined people to 472,442.
There are 3,116 active cases, including 531 critical and 89 seriously ill patients under intensive care.
