Dubai: Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health on Friday recorded 257 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 292 recoveries from the virus in the last 24 hours.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Qatar to 116,481 and recoveries to 113,216, while no new deaths were reported, leaving the death toll at 193.

All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status
The ministry said it conducted 4,849 tests in the last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far to 577,122. There are 32 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours.
Five patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing the total number of cases receiving medical care in intensive care currently to 66.
