Dubai: A 28-year-old Bangladeshi man has been missing for two weeks from his residence in Oman, local media reported.
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) appealed to Omani citizens and expatriate residents to help find the man who went missing from his residence in Wilayat Al Hamra in northeastern Oman.
In a statement issued online by ROP said, "The Royal Oman Police represented in the Directorate of Public relations would like to announce the missing of 28–year-old Bangladeshi citizen, Suyan Nandi Khajil, who left his residence in Wilayat Al Hamra on February 25, and has not returned till the date of this announcement. Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact ROP’s operations Centre at 999 or approach the nearest police station.”
In another missing case, the Royal Air Force of Oman and Royal Oman Police have launched an intensive search for a missing Omani man at sea off the coast of Asilah in the Wilayat Jaalan Bani Bu Ali.
The search continues, using a helicopter by the Royal Oman Air Force, in coordination with the Coast Guard Police of the Royal Oman Police.
