Kuwait: Man dies after being stabbed and run over by car

Kuwait City: A 33-year old man, Abdullah Al Khalifa, passed away on Saturday after being stabbed four times and then run over by a car, local media reported.

Al Khalifa was said to have been stabbed inside a Diwaniyya, in Al Qusoor neighbourhood, and then run over by a car on Wednesday and was immediately transferred to the Al Adan hospital.

The General Administration of Security Relations and Information at the Ministry of Interior stated that they had arrested the main suspect, a police officer, and three other perpetrators who were involved in the incident.

The Administration said that an investigation is underway to understand the necessary legal measures that need to be taken.

Al Khalifa was buried on Sunday at Al Sulaibikhat cemetery, where large crowds attended the funeral.
