Manama: Kuwait and Malta have agreed to launch a direct flight that will help bolster tourism figures and enhance cooperation, Kuwait news agency (KUNA) said.
Faisal Sulaiman Al Musaileem, Kuwait's ambassador to Malta, and Mario De Marco, Malta's minister of tourism, said that the two countries needed the aerial link to invigorate their cultural and educational agreements.
The Kuwaiti diplomat had agreed with the Maltese ministers of education, finance, health and commerce and industry in talks in Valetta ways to deepen cooperation in several areas, KUNA said.
