Dubai: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Education has reported a sudden spike in coronavirus infections among its employees, prompting it shut down its premises for sterilization, Al Jarida Newspaper reported yesterday.
According to the paper, an assistant undersecretary at the ministry and one of the director generals of a public school have tested positive for COVID-19 as well as the director of a central administration, and a number of female employees of the minister’s offices and some assistants.

The sources to the daily revealed that the ministry will initiate procedures to permit entry into the building only for those who sign up for an appointment online. The ministry also set up a number of sterilization tools at the entrances to the ministry and at elevators and stairs for people to use when entering and leaving the building.
