Islamabad: A Lahore-bound Pakistani flight carrying 47 passengers had to be grounded yesterday when it was hit by a bird shortly after taking off.
The incident occurred with Pakistan International Airlines flight (PK-649) at the Islamabad airport.
However, the pilot was successful in grounding the plane, Geo News reported.
The passengers later departed for Lahore in another plane.
