Girl, 5, murdered after being raped

Karachi: Police are trying to identify the killer of a five-year-old girl, whose body was found in bushes this morning. An official told Gulf News on Friday that the girl had been missing since Thursday night from a neighbourhood in Safoora Goth area. The parents kept wandering to find the girl, but the effort proved futile.

This morning, the girl’s body was taken into custody for autopsy at a government hospital where an examination confirmed that she had been raped before being killed. Police suspect an acquaintance of the family is responsible for the murder.
