Authorities urge motorists to drive cautiously as conditions persist into Friday morning

Dubai: The UAE is expected to experience thick fog overnight from Thursday into Friday, with meteorologists warning of a significant drop in visibility across coastal and inland areas.
According to the National Centre of Metrology, fog formation may begin around 10 pm on Thursday, November 20, and continue until 10:30am on Friday, November 21, with visibility potentially falling to near zero in some parts of the country, particularly coastal and inland areas.
Authorities have advised motorists to reduce speed, use low-beam headlights and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, particularly during early-morning commutes. Residents are also urged to plan travel ahead of time as delays may occur on major highways and near airports.
