Weather alert: Blowing dust to reduce visibility

Abu Dhabi: The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has issued an orange alert, urging road users and motorists to be cautious as blowing dust could significantly reduce visibility in different parts of the country, especially in the western regions.

The NCM alert is up on the country's central region on Saturday.

Convective clouds and fresh winds are expected, too, with slight rain seen in Al Quaa early on Saturday. Weathermen said that the horizontal visibility caused by cumulus clouds may be accompanied by rain and strong winds kicking up dust which will continue until 6 pm on Satruday.
