Dubai: The UAE is experiencing a severe heat today, with blistering temperatures and hazy sunshine dominating the skies. According to AccuWeather, Dubai is sweltering under a scorching 42°C with hazy sunshine. The current temperature stands at 35°C, while conditions tonight are expected to remain very warm and increasingly cloudy, dipping only slightly to 34°C.
Abu Dhabi is enduring even more extreme heat, with a daytime high of 45°C and a warning issued for dehydration and heatstroke risks due to prolonged exposure. As of now, the capital is basking in full sunshine at 37°C. Tonight's forecast predicts partly cloudy skies with persistently high nighttime temperatures around 34°C.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reports that today’s weather across the UAE will remain fair to partly cloudy, with a chance of convective cloud formation—especially in eastern and southern regions—which may bring localized rainfall this afternoon.
Temperature extremes across the country:
· Internal regions: 43–48°C
· Coastal areas and islands: 40–45°C
· Mountainous regions: 32–38°C
Winds and sea conditions:
Light to moderate winds may become fresh to strong at times, particularly with cloud activity. Blowing dust is expected in southeastern to northeastern parts of the country, with wind speeds reaching up to 40 km/h. The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will see slight sea conditions.
Residents are urged to avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, stay hydrated, and follow safety guidelines during the peak heat hours.
