Dubai: UAE residents can expect generally fair weather conditions today, alongside a noticeable rise in temperatures, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).
The day will be mostly sunny and partly cloudy at times, with a significant increase in temperatures, particularly in western areas.
The highest temperature recorded in the country yesterday was a scorching 44°C in Al Jazeera BG, located in the Al Dhafra region, at 2:45 PM.
Today, maximum temperatures in the inland areas are forecast to range between 40°C and 44°C, while coastal regions and islands may see highs of 42°C to 47°C. In contrast, the mountainous areas are expected to remain relatively cooler, with temperatures between 32°C and 36°C.
Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally freshening, blowing from the southeast to northeast at speeds of 10 to 20 km/h, reaching up to 35 km/h at times.
Sea conditions will remain slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea, making for relatively calm maritime activity.
As temperatures continue to climb, authorities advise residents to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during peak hours.
