The Met Office forecasts light rainfall across parts of UAE, tonight.

Dubai: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued red and yellow fog alerts across parts of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra areas. Foggy weather conditions are expected to continue until 9.30 am, today.

According to NCM, cloudy conditions are to be expected over some “coastal and northern areas with a probability of light rainfall by night.”

An alert issued by the NCM, states there will be a “deterioration in horizontal visibility, which may drop even further at times over some coastal and internal areas until 9.30 am.”

Red and yellow fog alerts were issued over Arjan, North of Abu Hiraybah, Al Wathba, and over Al Khatim areas in Abu Dhabi. Fog was also reported over Remah, Alkhazna, Al Arad, and over Al Wiqan and Um Azimul areas in Al Ain.

Dense fog was also reported over Madinat Zayed, Al Mirfa, Western Mahadir, Bu Al Dhiyab, Asab and Hamim road, Western Mahadir and over Bu Al Dhiyab and more in All Dhafra region.

The highest temperatures are expected to be between 21 and 25 degree Celsius over coastal areas, and temperature lows will be between 11 and 15 degree Celsius.

Light to moderate winds, with speeds reaching up to 35 km/hr can be expected today, across coastal areas.
