Sharjah Police honour Civil Defence employees for thwarting theft attempt

Sharjah: Employees of Sharjah Civil Defence successfully foiled a theft attempt, apprehending the suspects thanks to the swift action and vigilance of local security personnel. In recognition of their professionalism and dedication, Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander -in-chief of Sharjah Police, honored employees from the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority in a ceremony attended by Brigadier General Yousuf Obaid bin Harmoul, Director General of the Authority.

The commendation highlighted the employees’ high readiness and commitment, which contributed to strengthening the Emirate’s security and joint response capabilities. Major General Bin Amer stressed that recognising talent and competence is a cornerstone of Sharjah’s security framework, reflecting a culture of initiative, awareness, and responsibility.

The employees expressed their gratitude for the recognition, noting that it motivates them to continue excelling and embodies the spirit of collaboration between the police and civil defence sectors in safeguarding lives and property across the Emirate.
