Dubai Holding launches ‘Tickit for Good’ in support of women and children this Ramadan

Initiative offers easy and instant points across some of Dubai’s most-loved destinations

Dubai: Dubai Holding, a diversified global investment company with operations across retail, hospitality, leisure and entertainment, has announced the launch of ‘Tickit for Good’, a campaign rolled out through the company’s new effortless and instant rewards programme, ‘Tickit’. Dubai Holding pledges to match all Tickit member points earned during Ramadan with funds in support of the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC). The initiative runs until May 12, 2022.

‘Tickit for Good’ aims to support disadvantaged, at-risk women and children of the Foundation, and reflects Dubai Holding’s ongoing commitment to empower women and advance gender equality in the UAE in support of United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 5.

‘Leveraging interest and excitement’

Huda Buhumaid, chief marketing officer of Dubai Holding, said: “After the successful launch of Tickit last month, we are delighted to leverage the interest and excitement generated by our new rewards programme for such an important cause during Ramadan. We have been overwhelmed by the response to Tickit due its utmost ease in allowing members to earn rewards effortlessly, and what this means is that it becomes equally effortless for them to help others in dire need too. Our customers get rewarded for doing what they love to do, and we donate on their behalf. It’s that simple.”

Tickit members can enjoy earning points across more than 500 brands and outlets at some of Dubai Holding’s leading destinations.

‘Achieving gender equality’

Sheikha Saeed Al Mansouri, acting director-general of DFWAC, said: “Achieving gender equality for women and girls everywhere is vital and we are confident that ‘Tickit for Good’ will contribute to this objective during Ramadan. I am hopeful that the outcome of the partnership will enhance our local and global efforts to support women and children who need our help after the pandemic exacerbated social inequalities for the vulnerable and disadvantaged.”

Tickit members can enjoy earning points across more than 500 brands and outlets at some of Dubai Holding’s leading destinations, including Bluewaters, City Walk, La Mer, The Beach, Al Khawaneej Walk, Hatta Resorts and Dubai Parks and Resorts. It can also be used to earn effortlessly instant rewards at the Majlis of the World at Global Village, Rove Hotels, Hillhouse Brasserie, The Duck Hook, Sikka Cafe, TIER Mobility and Washmen, among many others.

‘Love and trust’

With Tickit, members can shop in stores or online with strategic partners. There are more than 50 participating Tickit outlets at Bluewaters. City Walk offers more than 80 attractions and outlets, while The Beach and Al Khawaneej Walk both offer more than 60 participating outlets with food and beverages, shopping, entertainment, electronics and much more.
