Umm Al Quwain: A 10-year-old Emirati girl died after falling from the seventh floor of a building in Umm Al Quwain on Wednesday afternoon, according to police reports released on Friday.
The incident occurred when the girl slipped off a chair while playing on the balcony.The incident was first reported by a relative who saw the child lying motionless on the ground surrounded by concerned onlookers.
Emergency services, including the police and National Ambulance, quickly responded to the scene. The girl was rushed to the ICU at Khalifa Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries the following day despite medical efforts to save her.
