Dubai: Indian wicket-keeper batter Sanju Samson said teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored the sensational century during the Indian Premier League using his bat.

Suryavanshi rose to stardom at the start of the IPL for being youngest player in the league. He then grabbed the limelight for his 101 runs from just 38 balls against Gujarat Titans. Playing just the third match of his IPL career, the 14-year-old blasted seven fours and 11 huge sixes in his record knock as the Royals romped home to a comfortable eight-wicket win in Jaipur.

In a video shared by the Rajasthan Royals franchise on Monday, Samson praises the young star and adds that Suryavanshi had an obsession of collecting bats.
