Pakistan have suffered a blow ahead of their series against England as batsman Khushdil Shah has suffered a fractured thumb during training in Derby and is out of action for at least three weeks.

The injury keeps Khushdil out of Pakistan’s warm-up matches ahead of the first Test against England on August 5.

Pakistan are slated to face England in three Tests and as many T20s.
