Around the world… Solar Impulse 2 created history yesterday when it completed its around the world journey without using a drop of fossil fuel. It covered more than 40,000 kilometres and became the first plane to circle the world using only solar energy. As it landed in Abu Dhabi, congratulatory messages started pouring in social media, with users proud of the invention and its achievement. They were enthusiastic and looked forward to a greener planet.
