Freddie Mercury to appear as optical illusion

British rock band Queen have planned a special treat for their fans at their upcoming 10th anniversary show in London — an optical illusion that will make their late vocalist Freddie Mercury's image come alive for the audience

The band's guitarist Brian May confirmed they will present a projection of Mercury's image by using a special effect, reports aceshowbiz.com.

"People will come out saying, ‘did we actually see Freddie?'" said May.

"That technique is something we've looked at ourselves but I think probably for a show that runs eight shows a week it's not really quite practical," he said.

Other than Queen, bands like TLC and Jackson 5 have plans to do similar things in memory of their late members. The former want to bring back Left Eye to life, while the latter plan to resurrect Michael Jackson through special effects.
