Dubai: Dubai maintains its place among the world's elite culinary destinations as two of its restaurants earned spots on the World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025 list, announced at Thursday's ceremony in Turin, Italy.

3 Michelin-starred restaurant, Trèsind Studio secured the 27th position, while Orfali Bros, with one Michelin star, ranked 37th, making them the only Middle Eastern establishments to enter this year's coveted ranking. The achievement marks a significant milestone for Dubai's evolving gastronomy landscape.

Trèsind Studio: Where innovation meets tradition

Chef Himanshu Saini's Trèsind Studio, located at Palm Jumeirah, offers an unparalleled dining experience. With only 20 seats available, this three Michelin-starred restaurant creates an intimate theatre where modern Indian cuisine takes centre stage.

The restaurant's unique concept involves moving diners through different spaces throughout their meal, with each area specifically designed to enhance the dishes being served. This choreographed experience elevates dining beyond mere consumption into immersive storytelling.

"This honour reinforces our belief that modern Indian cuisine belongs on the world stage while staying true to our heritage," said Chef Saini, celebrating the recognition that also earned Trèsind Studio the title of Best Restaurant in the Middle East 2025.

Orfali Bros: A Syrian success story

The tale behind Orfali Bros resonates far beyond its culinary achievements. Three brothers from Aleppo - head chef Mohamad and pastry chefs Wassim and Omar - have transformed their Syrian heritage into a globally recognised dining destination.

Their one Michelin-starred restaurant defies conventional categorisation, masterfully blending traditional Syrian elements with pan-regional favourites. European culinary techniques merge seamlessly with Asian ingredients, creating a menu that reflects Dubai's multicultural DNA.

The brothers' journey from Syria to international acclaim embodies Dubai's role as a sanctuary for culinary talent, where diverse traditions converge and evolve into something entirely new.

These achievements represent more than individual restaurant success - they signal Dubai's transformation into a serious gastronomic capital. The World's 50 Best Restaurants list, determined by over 1,000 international industry experts, including renowned chefs and food writers, is widely regarded as the culinary world's most prestigious honour.

Lima's Maido claimed the top spot this year, while Dubai's representation among just 32 cities and 22 countries featured on the list demonstrates the emirate's rising global influence in fine dining.

These accolades position Dubai as an essential destination for serious food lovers. Both restaurants showcase different aspects of the city's culinary identity: Trèsind Studio demonstrates how traditional cuisines can be elevated through modern presentation, while Orfali Bros exemplifies the creative possibilities when diverse culinary traditions intersect.

They have also listed the Middle East and North Africa's 50 Best Restaurants. From Abu Dhabi to Dubai, these are the restaurants to add to your foodie bucket list.
