Unreleased music by Beyoncé, along with show plans, concert footage, and set lists, were stolen from a rental car in Atlanta belonging to the singer’s choreographer and one of her dancers, according to a police incident report, according to Associated Press. The theft occurred on July 8, just two days before Beyoncé kicked off her four-night residency at the city’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. She was scheduled to wrap up her Atlanta stop on Monday night.

According to Atlanta Police, as quoted by the Associated Press, the stolen material had been saved on five USB drives. An arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect, though the individual’s identity has not been made public.

Also reported stolen were two MacBook laptops, Apple headphones, and luxury clothing and accessories. Choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue told officers they parked their 2024 Jeep Wagoneer at an Atlanta food hall around 8:09 p.m. When they returned just after 9 p.m., they discovered the trunk window smashed and two suitcases missing. Grant informed police that one of the bags contained “personal sensitive information for the musician Beyoncé,” according to the report.

A red 2025 Hyundai Elantra has been flagged as a potential suspect vehicle. Officers recovered “light prints” at the scene and said security footage captured the break-in. Authorities later searched the area where tracking data from the stolen laptops and headphones indicated the items may have been taken.

Beyoncé launched her much-anticipated Cowboy Carter tour in April, bringing her Grammy-winning album to stadiums across the US. and Europe. The tour is set to conclude with two nights in Las Vegas later this month.
