Dubai marked a turning point for the icon whose hit “Brown Rang” was filmed in the UAE

Dubai: Yo Yo Honey Singh will officially open his My Story World Tour 2026 in Dubai, a city that has played a defining role in his career. The tour will begin on February 6, 2026, at the Coca-Cola Arena.
Dubai marked a turning point for the Indian music star, whose breakout solo hit “Brown Rang” was filmed in the city against the backdrop of the Burj Khalifa. The song propelled him to global fame and set the foundation for a career that merged Punjabi influences with international hip-hop.
“Every city on this world tour has a story, from the beats born in Delhi to the rhythms from London and LA, but Dubai lies very close to my heart,” Singh said.
“This tour is my musical autobiography. Each show represents a chapter of my journey and honours the people who shaped it.”
Put together by Blu Blood with support of Dubai Calendar, the Dubai leg will mark the first stop of a multi-city global tour.
“Dubai has been a launchpad for defining moments — for Yo Yo Honey Singh and for us,” said organisers Osman Osman and Shaaista Khan Osman, in a joint statement.
Singh’s evolution follows years of personal turmoil, including addiction, illness, and a widely reported withdrawal from the spotlight. Reflecting on those years, he said in an interview with Gulf News: “I’ve changed as a human. I kept the best parts of myself and deleted the rest. I turned towards God, spirituality, friendship, love.”
Gone are the chaotic nights that defined his early stardom. Today, Singh is laser-focused on discipline and creativity.
“I don’t go to parties anymore. I make two songs a day, three beats a day. I don’t work for labels — I work for my fans, and for myself. That’s my kick.”
Tickets go on sale Monday, 17 November, with pre-sale access available on Sunday, 16 November via district.ae.
