Pharrell Williams and Helen Lasichanh expecting second child

Rapper Pharrell Williams’s wife Helen Lasichanh is pregnant with their second child.

A representative for the Happy singer has confirmed the news.

Williams married Lasichanh in 2013. The couple already has a seven-year-old son named Rocket Ayer Williams. Williams’s song Rocket’s Theme was written in honour of his son.

In a 2014 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Williams explained his son’s name.

“In the same way the [Native Americans] named their children after a force or animal or element, we named him after a man-made machine that was meant to go up, meant to ascend,” he said.
