‘Godzilla’ sequel coming in 2018

The Godzilla sequel, to be directed by Gareth Edwards, will hit US screens on June 8, 2018.

Warner Bros. has confirmed the plans to make the movie’s sequel with Edwards, who directed Godzilla, reports contactmusic.com.

Edwards is currently busy developing one of the spin-off films for the Star Wars franchise.

His Godzilla had received a mixed reception from critics, yet won a good response at the box office, earning around $500 million (Dh1.8 billion) worldwide.
