Bollywood star and West Bengal ambassador attends event in ‘city of joy’

Shah Rukh Khan arrived in Kolkata in West Bengal on Saturday to participate in a programme organised by the Kolkata Police. A huge crowd greeted the actor at the airport on his arrival.

“In Kolkata... my city of joy,” SRK tweeted.

The star, who is the brand ambassador for West Bengal, was also joined by Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu, who is from Kolkata, and Bengali actor Dev. He also met Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who tied a rakhi — a band to signify brotherhood — on his hand.
