Priyanka goes Chopra on her hair

Priyanka Chopra has surprised her twitter fans by posting a picture of herself — without her usual long, flowing hair.

The actress tweeted on Saturday before throwing herself at the mercy of a hairstylist: “Time to do something spontaneous!! Feeling a bit adventurous. Chopping the tresses!”

She then shared a photograph of her new look on Facebook.

Sporting a black ensemble and red lips, she showed off her new short hairdo with highlights in the photograph.

Her fans have already given her the thumbs up for the new look, with some writing “beautiful” and “cool” to describe it.

Her short hairstyle is part of her new role as Kiara in the 2010 film Anjaana Anjaani.
