Kareena Kapoor pregnant with her first child

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is pregnant with her first child, her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, has confirmed.

“My wife and I would like to announce that we are expecting our first child in December. We would like to thank our well wishers for their blessings and support and also the press for their discretion and patience,” he said in a statement.

Kapoor Khan and Khan, who already has two children with ex wife Amrita Singh, married in 2012 after a five-year relationship.

While Bollywood actresses such as Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are making a splash in the West, Kapoor Khan earlier said that she has no such ambitions.

She said that she does not plan on going abroad with her talent and is happy to have “a little place of my own”.
