Takreer awards contract to GS Engineering & Construction Corp

Abu Dhabi Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company (Takreer) Wednesday announced that an inter-refinery pipeline project contract worth $623 million (Dh2 billion) has been awarded to GS Engineering & Construction Corp.

With a total length of 955km, the planned pipeline network connecting the refineries with various terminals in Abu Dhabi will be capable of covering the increase in future demand in refined petroleum products, according to a press release by Takreer.

The project is being executed in fulfillment of Adnoc's vision to establish reliable and safe network of pipelines for hydrocarbon product movement between the refineries and storage terminals for commercial distribution.

The project's frontend engineering design was completed by Technip.
