Emarat reduces diesel price at Dubai and northern emirates stations

Dubai: Price of diesel will fall by Dh1 from Thursday, announced Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat).

Diesel will cost Dh12.35 a gallon instead of Dh13.35 at Emarat stations in Dubai and northern emirates from Thursday, an official said on Monday.

Hussain Kazim, Emarat's Corporate Communications Manager, said the move was taken after Emarat reviewed the developments and changes in oil prices in global markets.

"The corporation took the initiative of reducing diesel prices in line with the global economic developments and the fall in oil prices," he said.
