Dewa chief receives energy delegation from Europe

Dubai: Saeed Mohammad Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa), has discussed with European energy companies Dubai’s efforts to develop renewable and alternative energy, rationalise the use of natural resources, and find alternative solutions to conventional energy. The discussion took place with a delegation of these companies which included Daniel Develay, CEO of Belgium’s Tractebel Engineering, Michael Wuennemann, Executive Director of Energy at Lahmeyer International, Alain Vannerum, Managing Director of Middle East, and Ariadne Szekut, Product Manager-Energy System Consulting at Tractebel Engineering. Al Tayer also discussed the latest development on the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park.
