Tonight, Global Village kicks-off its seasonal celebrations in style with a tree lighting ceremony – and you are invited. The family-friendly event has live entertainment, fireworks – and a surprise in store for attendees; hint: look up!
Before the ceremony even begins, there’s an electrifying performance by Columbian dance sensation, Swing Latino at 6pm.
The tree lighting will take place from 6pm-8pm near Cultural Gate. Head on over for a show you – and the kids - really don’t want to miss.
Global Village is a 1.6-million-square-metre park with more than 3,500 stores, more than 200 spots to eat and more than 40,000 grand performances over its six-month stay each year. There are also kids’ games on the ground and carnival rides that are sure to thrill the whole family.
