Dubai: If you are looking to book an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine in Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (Seha) has introduced a new Whatsapp service that has made it easier to complete the booking process.
On June 14, the Abu Dhabi Media Office announced the new Whatsapp channel, which offers several services apart from booking a COVID-19 vaccine appointment, including raising customer enquiries, booking follow-up appointments with doctors, or checking the location of Seha facilities.
So, if you would like to use the service, follow these steps.
You would first need to add and save the number – 02 4102200 – as a contact on your smartphone. This will allow you to send a message to the number through Whatsapp.
After you have added the number to your contact list, open the Whatsapp app and send an initial message to the Seha number.
You will then receive a message with a list of services that you can access through this Whatsapp chat. Select the number ‘2’ for COVID-19 vaccine appointments.
To use this service, you will undergo an authentication check using your Emirates ID and registered phone numbers, as the service is linked to Seha’s patient portal.
If your mobile number is registered with Seha, you will receive the option to book an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine, along with details of the location and timing of the vaccine. Select your preferred time and location to book the appointment.
