JA The Resort Course delivers a warm welcome as weather gets cooler
Celebrities such as Tiger Woods have played the nine-hole course
I am a member of Jumeirah Golf Estates but always like to play the other golf courses in Dubai.
JA The Resort is always a favourite of mine, not just because of the condition of the golf course, but also for a warm welcome from Stuart McMurdo, the Director of Golf.
When I drive to play Jebel Ali I always know what to expect with the condition of the golf course.
It is somewhat shorter and a bit more friendly than some of the other courses in Dubai, but that does not stop me still getting into trouble and losing golf balls.
It was still a little warm when we played last week but each week the weather is getting better and better and it will soon be the perfect for golf as the season is nearly upon us.
I am always impressed that the likes of Tiger Woods, Ian Woosnam, Ernie Els, Lee Westwood, Darren Clarke, Colin Montgomerie, Nick Faldo, Jose Maria Olazabal and so many more have all played this nine-hole course designed by UAE-based golf designer Peter Harradine. I like to see all the memorabilia and photos around the club of the world’s best playing the golf course.
I always look forward to playing JA The Resort Golf Course, it is important to have such facilities in the Dubai golfing community.
