COVID-19 deaths cross 100,000 worldwide

The number of confirmed cases as of now is over 1.6 million

Deaths following COVID-19 complications crossed 100,000 on Friday night. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infections crossed 1.6 million earlier this week.

Over 369,000 people have recovered across the globe. US stands first with over a total of 477,000 confirmed cases and over 17,000 deaths. Spain, Italy, Germany, France, China, Iran, UK and Turkey follow US in terms of the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases.
