Dubai: Shamsher Khan of Al Futtaim team believes in smashing every ball over the boundary line. Dubai Strikers got a taste of his aggressive batting style in the third Hologram Premier 25-Over tournament organised by Umm Al Quwain Cricket Association.

Shamsher raced to an unbeaten 100 from only 35 deliveries. His century included 13 sixes and only three boundaries.

Batting first, Dubai Strikers had posted a healthy 146 runs in 25 overs but Shamsher’s knock saw Al Futtain winning the match by nine wickets in just 8.5 overs. So dominant was he that his partner only faced 15 balls in all, with a personal contribution of 23 runs.

In another match, Rizwan Sadiq too came up with an aggressive unbeaten knock, scoring 80 runs from just 45 balls to steer Hologram past Cost Cutters Club by seven wickets.

Meanwhile, Multiplex and National Trading reached the final of the Corporate Premier League.
