Dubai: Godolphin trainer Saeed Bin Surour notched up four winners with UAE jockey Ahmad Ajtebi accounting for two of them including one with a near-perfect race on Allybar to win the Group 3 Al Maktoum Challenge (Round Two) at the Meydan race course on Thursday night.
The Mike de Kock-trained Musir was also in awesome form winning the UAE 2000 Guineas (Group 3) under Christophe Soumillon to give the South African trainer a double for the night.
Bin Surour, who takes his Dubai International Racing Carnival tally to 13 with his four-timer on Thursday, saw Lanfranco Dettori score the first two on Emirates Champion and Sirocco Breeze after which Ajtebi put up a stellar display, winning the Group 3 on Allybar and then finished off the night with an easy win on Calming Influence, his fifth winner in the Carnival.
