Dubai: The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) is organising an open programme over three days, offering employment in financial, banking, insurance, retail and tourism sectors.

The open fair, which will be held in InterContinental Dubai — Festival City, will provide many job opportunities for Emiratis in companies operating across economic sectors across the UAE.

The ministry, in cooperation with its partners, will hold similar fairs across the UAE later.

It called on Emirati jobseekers to participate and register during the three days, between the fair timings of 10am to 4pm. Jobseekers must bring along their Emirates ID and career resumes.

The first day will be limited to companies in the banking and finance sector, the second to retail sector companies, and the third for tourism sector establishments.

The initiative aims to accelerate qualitative Emiratisation by offering 3,500 job opportunities for Emiratis during the second phase, broken down as 500 jobs in the insurance sector, 1,000 jobs in the finance and banking sector, 2,000 in the retail and tourism sectors.

Emiratis will be able to directly undergo job interviews with participating companies.

The ministry is spreading the event over a number of phases. The first involves participants registering on a smart platform and allowing them to choose three available job opportunities. Other phases include offering professional guidance to the participants, ensuring that they are prepared for the job interviews.
