American luxury label Amiri hasn’t slowed down since its founding in Los Angeles eight years ago as one of the fastest-growing brands in fashion with major stores opening last year in Las Vegas and New York, and new locations added this year in Tokyo, Miami, Shanghai and Atlanta.
Now Amiri is expanding in the UAE too with a new flagship store opening in Dubai at the Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue, one of the most exclusive luxury shopping destination in the world. This makes Amiri a truly International brand with with a space in Dubai the spans 3,500 square feet to showcasing the full range of Amiri’s men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections, accessories, footwear and leather goods.
What’s more, along with the flagship store Amiri Dubai has announced an exclusive Dubai Palm Tree capsule collection which includes silk shirts and shorts, a tee, hoodie, jersey shorts and hat, decorated with hand-painted illustrations inspired by the Date Palm.
Since the founding of the brand in 2014 by Los Angeleno Mike Amiri, the brand has been synonymous with denim and one-off, hand-embellished creations known for their craftsmanship and bold aesthetic, inspired by LA’s youth culture of the 1990s.
The latest Dubai location had the label collaborating once again with Paris-based design studio NOCOD to come up with a contemporary gallery-like space highlighted by walnut wood, paloma stone, marble and stainless steel, carefully curated by Amiri himself when it came to furniture pieces and interior decorations.
