The 48-year-old billionaire tycoon’s embarrassing disco dance routine began right after he walked on stage at the event for employees, Tesla owners - and which was also attended by the city's Mayor and other senior government officials - as he started bopping around like a drunk uncle at a wedding for 40 very awkward seconds with the audience in fits of laughter. The Shanghai plant is part of US carmaker’s plans to bolster its presence in the world’s biggest car market. The factory started with a production capacity of 150,000 Model 3 saloons and Tesla aims to push that to 250,000 vehicles a year, including Model Y, in the plant's first phase.
