Dubai: The Saudi-led coalition launched several strikes on the Yemeni capital of Sana’a on Thursday.

This comes just one day after an Al Houthi missile attack on Abha airport in Saudi Arabia injured 26.

The terrorist attack was widely condemned and dubbed as a war crime by the coalition.

It vowed a swift and firm response to the attack.

On Thursday, UAE minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Anwar Gargash, criticised the Iran-backed Al Houthi militants in Yemen.

“The split nature of the Houthi militias is evident; playing a local role when negotiating a political process in Yemen & puppets & proxies when targeting Saudi civilians. A position complicating the Yemen crisis & impeding the march to peace,” he said.
